HORSES FROM 2008 WHO MOVED ON TO NEW HOMES OR FINAL RESTING PLACE.

Dolly, registered name Gamblers Shady Lady, previous known as Shady and Georgia. A clever women who bought Luna wanted to find out who her dad was and through the internet found Dolly's life story.

At one time Dolly was sitting in a pasture with very little grass, she was skinny and hungary. Michelle stopped and asked the home owner what was going on with the horse. It seems the women had just bought the house and the previous owners left Dolly behind, along with her papers.

Michelle asked if she could have the horse and the women agreed. Dolly's name at that time was Shady and she would drive a rig until she had a terrible accident while driving. The vet said she could never be ridden or used for anything but breeding. Dolly was then sold to a painted horse ranch, who bred her and produced a beautiful colt. Dolly's name at this point was Georgia.

For some unknown reason Dolly was taken to the auction and sold to a lady in Lincoln who heard she was pregnant with another foal which turned out to be Luna. I ended up with her when the lady called and said Dolly needed a home for her and her baby.

Michelle at one point tried to buy Dolly back but the owner wanted more then she could afford.

Now here is the happy ending, Dolly is going back to Michelle's ranch as she has been worried sick about what has happened to her and she promises Dolly will get to spend the rest of her life being a horse in her pasture. Isn't the internet amazing.
